Since moving to Chicago, she has been senior managing editor at the American Academy of Pediatrics where she managed Pediatrics as well as the Pediatrics Review and Education Program (PREP). She also was the director of publishing at the American College of Sports Medicine where she managed four journals and 35 books in medicine and allied health.
